I have been up since 6:15, alas, cheered up however by a magical morning sky of clouds and sun, shadows and reflections, an iceberg, a sparrow singing, and some floating ducks.  That's my morning along with NPR and thoughts of what the day will bring.

Our days this week have not varied much because of the weather mostly.  The cold and wintry mix just made us want to stay inside and not venture forth.  So that's what we did for the most part.  I ended up forcing myself to go to yoga at 9:30, always a good choice although it may not seem that way before I get in my car and drive to Lakewood.  Most of whatever we want to do that does not involve the lake, like hikes, yoga, or working out involves a drive.  So I spent an arduous hour in yoga class, harder than usual but was glad that I went. I stopped at Sav A Lot to pick up some milk and that was it for the day.

Lunch was vegetable soup and leftover pizza from Thursday night's dinner and I watched another episode of Borderliner.  After lunch, I read some and took a nap, what else and Evie decided to prep dinner, a vegetable and chicken stir-fry with a Thai curry sauce from Trader Joe's.  Once that was put together, we were able to enjoy the afternoon, then late afternoon with a glass of wine and some Thai Lime & Chili cashews, also from Trader Joes.

Evie heated up the chicken and veggies, made a salad, and heated up the Naan and we sat down to eat around 6:30 and watched about twenty minutes of The Masters which was enough.  We will wait till Sunday to really get into it.  We decided to watch a movie, picked out The Girl On The Train which we had saved only to find out that we had missed the first 15 minutes.  So we bagged that and watched Michael Connelly's THE LINCOLN LAWYER, a bit dated or so it seemed.  It was decent not great, a C probably.  We ended the night we Trading Spaces, a popular series that aired from 2000 to 2008.  It was one of the first the home improvement shows on TV and had a large audience.
