A daily journal of our lives (begun in October, 2010), in photos (many taken by my wife, Evie) and words, mostly from our home on Chautauqua Lake, in Western New York, where my wife Evie and I live, after my having retired from teaching English for forty-five years in Hawaii, Istanbul, Turkey, and Ohio. We have three children and seven grandchildren, as you will notice if you follow my blog since we often travel to visit them. Trumpeter Swans on 3/23/24 at 5:00

INDIGO SLAM: ROBERT CRAIS
Elvis Cole and Joe Pike take care of business, again, in a book I think I may have read a few years ago. This time a young 15 year old girl walks into Elvis's office, with cash, and asks him to find her Dad who has been missing for a couple of weeks. What sounds like a simple task ends up getting complicated as both the mob and the Feds are also looking for him. Needless to say, they find him but have to crack a couple of heads, mostly mob, on the way.
