Another Winter Advisory

Tuesday Night Moonglow At 10:00

7:31

8:50

It's 8:15 and I have been up for an hour. Evie just came down, so we are sitting here, looking at the same view as yesterday morning: a gray sky and a white snow-covered lake. It's 17º and for once, we did not get snow overnight.

Yesterday was a typical day recently, with some activity in the morning, then an afternoon of sitting around wishing I had the mojo to do something. So, I was up early and because Evie is fighting a cold, she reluctantly stayed home from school. Our early morning was typical, with getting up early, writing and editing the blog and having breakfast. Yoga on Tuesday is earlier than usual, at 9:30 so I was off by 9:10. The class was different, emphasizing our shoulders. After class, because it was 5% Tuesday, I did a big shopping, filling up my cart.

I was home by 12:30 and had lunch, the leftover chicken and noodles, saving the soup for our dinner. I watched another episode of my show, starting Season Three of People of Interest. Around 2:00, despite the sunny afternoon, I read and napped. The rest of the afternoon I felt guilty for not hiking or skiing because the lake was so beautiful. Evie had a Zoom call with her sisters at 5:00 and had our happy hour at 5:45, sushi I picked up at Wegmans, a treat. Dinner was soup and cheese sandwiches and we watched part of a series on PBS called Marriage but after a half hour we quit it because it was so depressing, not what we needed. We then watched some news and Jeopardy until Evie went up to bed early because she was not feeling well. I watched some college basketball but soon got bored and went back to my series until it was time to go upstairs to read and sleep. Before going upstairs, I took some amazing photos of the moonlight on the lake, our yard, and trees.
