Today's supposed to be another beautiful day but then the clouds and rain arrive, changing everything we do. No more reclining on the dock, reading, or walking on crisp leaves, or cutting the lawn. Instead, we will be forced inside for the first time in a week, as we watch the rains, the wet leaves fall, the lake dimple with rain drops. To be honest, we love it when it rains, just so it stops after a few days, but that's something that is unpredictable and autumn rains are very common. It's interesting how different today's morning sky is, how the sky out to the east is filled with dark clouds at the moment, whereas in the previous six days, it was just orange, as the sun began to rise and light the horizon. Today there's a hint of orange but mostly clouds on the horizon, then clear, light blue skies above the lake.
