| Yesterday's Sunrise |
It's late afternoon, and I don't know where the day went, just the last two hours when we vegged out and watched two more hours of Damages. We are on week 9, having watched all eight in the past two days. We did get things done this morning, returning the carpet samples (we are going to wait on it), dropping off the car for an oil change, two new used tires, Weggies, the hardware store, and bank. We were home by 1:00, as Evie has been making cookies to take to KC when we go on Friday.
It's been in the 30's all day, drizzle mostly, with occasional sleet or wet snow, none of which sticks. I have not been outside in the last three weeks without some kind of waterproof boot because of the water, mud, and puddles. April is the cruelest month! I envy those who live in the Sun Belt this month as the weather here is not for me...cold, wet, dreary, monotonous.
