7:15 |
When I woke, I could tell it was sunny through the blinds and curtains and when I came downstairs, the living room was filled with light. Love it. It;s one of those mornings where I will have to move around the living room to avoid the sun in my eyes. Life is tough. It's later than usual as I finish this because I had breakfast at 8:00 and kayaked for forty minutes after breakfast in Ashville, a busy morning.

Woodlawn |
Yesterday was cold, windy, and snowy so I didn't get outside. It was too miserable out to kayak and windy so we had our usaual cup of coffee, breakfast and finished up the blog. I drove to Lakewood to another good yoga class, rigorous enough to get up a sweat. I had to laugh at a new student, a guy built like a weightlifter, cut off sleeves, muscular and tattooed arms, diamond earrings, and a black stocking cap covering a shaved head. I don't know where he came from or if he will return. He said little, only a nod of his head when I said Hey.
When I got home, Evie was working on Shutterfly, making a book for the summer and it was driving her crazy. Figuring out how to download and revise photos has to be learned over again each spring when she makes it and I am not much help. I had the leftover Thai Peanut chicken for lunch and watched my show before reading and taking a short nap. The rest of the afternoon Evie either watched some TV or worked on the book and I jsut sat aournd and read, wishing I had the mojo to get outside and walk. I didn't.

Sunset From The Viking |
At 6:00, I walked down to our neighbors and the four of us drove over to the Viking for dinner. Evie stayed home because she was not feeling well. It was crowded as usual and we ordered our beers and dinners, waiting to see if anyone won the Queen Of Hearts. No one did and the total now is up to over five thousand dollars. We stayed until 8:30 and drove home on a chilly evening. When I got home, Evie was in bed so I watched some basketball and another episode of my show. It's nice to have both a book and a series I like.
