It's 8:15 and we both have been up since 7:00, up early enough to see the sunrise. Its 41º already and should get up into the mid 50s later in the day. Hello Spring.

Yesterday was a strange day in that neither of us felt up to snuff. We were up early and Evie had a bad night but fortunately, she did not have school. After our typical morning, I went to my Melt yoga class because I knew it would be easy. I felt better after it and decided to try out the new car wash with the Outback. For 15 bucks, I got it washed as well as the undercarriage.

I was home by noon to the mess in our neighborhood as the guys are still digging sewer lines, piling dirt and muddying up the roads. They should be done with the first phase, the infrastructure in a couple of days and then we will have to wait until the fall to hook up our houses to the sewer lines. At least I think that's the scenario.

Evie was reading on the couch when I returned, enjoying a leisurely day of not having to do anything. I heated up the leftover eggplant parm for lunch, still tasty and watched my Cormorant Strike series which I am getting into. I then returned to my book, Lullaby Town and took a good nap, waking feeling tired alas and not wanting to do much like walking. So I didn't, just waited for the magic hour of 5:00 when we could have a glass of wine. 

Evie added both sauerkraut and tomatoes to the leftover pork, made some mashed potatoes and we had one of my favorite dinners, pork, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes. We watched The White Lotus which is getting more interesting, than some HGTV shows. Evie went up to be early, at 8:30 and I watched a couple of episodes of The Ink Black Heart, finishing the series.
