It's 7:48 and the sun just popped up above the horizon ten minutes ago. It's another clear, blue sky morning, 37º, and I am not complaining. We are off at 9:00 to a gathering of a few of Robert College of Istanbul's class of 1974 at the Shawnee Inn And Golf Course in Stroudsburg, PA. We are excited.

Yesterday was another fine day here at the lake, with temperatures in the 50's and lots of sunshine. Evie was up early and off to school by 9:30. It was a big day because the kids were going to the library and would be able to buy books at the book fair. I was in no hurry to get going, but by 10:30, I was driving to Lakewood, stopped at Ryders Cup, and spent a half hour with the regulars. I then did a quick run through Wegmans before stopping at Dobbins Woods. I wanted to get in a hike and was smart enough to wear my crampons over my boots. The walk would have been difficult without my crampons because most of the path was covered with snow or ice and the boardwalks were treacherous. I didn't enjoy it much because of the ice and was out for forty-five minutes.

I was home by 12:30 and had lunch, the leftover Buffalo chicken wrap from the Viking and watched my show as well as some college basketball. The afternoon went as usual, with a nap and spending much of time reading my book. Evie was home around 3:00, exhausted from school, and couldn't wait to get in the TV room and relax with The Crown. I did a little work outside, picking up deadfall and cutting some of the branches of the hydrangeas that were broken from the heavy snow. I also put the Outback in the garage for the first time in weeks because the snow had melted, making it easy to get it in.

Full Moon 

We had our wine at 5:00 and I washed up some redskin potatoes and put them in the oven. By 6:30, we were having an easy dinner, potatoes, eggs, mushrooms, and a salad. A couple of our series are finished so we watched a Colbert and another episode of The Resident before Evie went up to bed. I watched some basketball and news before going up to bed as well, a good day.
