It's a beautiful morning, with blue skies and a glorious sunrise. The birds are happy at the feeder and we are warm and cozy in our living room enjoying a second cup of coffee. Evie was up at 7:00 because of kindergarten today but I slept in until 8:00.

Monday was another cold day, too cold to be outside. After the usual morning, I shoveled and left for Melt Yoga at 10:00, wondering if anyone would be at class on such a cold day. Four of us made it to class and I am starting to enjoy it more and more. I went to Wegmans after class and picked up some essentials for the next couple of days, then drove home in a blizzard so I took my time, staying around forty mph.

White Out At 1:26

Evie had put together a couple of things while I was gone, then fried up some mashed potatoes with eggs for my lunch, a favorite of mine. I watched my show, Whitechapel, then got back to my book, The Restless Wave and napped for forty minutes. The rest of the afternoon I read but occasionally listened to the TV and all the hoopla around Trump. He's insufferable, a despicable, vindictive narcissist, and I am embarrassed to call him our President. Enough said.

Afternoon Blue Skies at 4:24

Around 4:00, I braved the temperatures again, cleared off the snow from the car, and shoveled the driveway. Evie made a tomato, mushroom, and turkey meatball sauce and we had it over spaghetti for dinner, watching some of the Trump rally at the Capital One Arena until we could not take it any longer. It's going to be four long years. We changed the channel to Hometown and then Evie went up to bed around 8:15 because she was particularly tired.  I then watched the first three-quarters of the Ohio State win over Notre Dame. It was onesided until the second half when Notre Dame received a few breaks and started playing well. It was redemption for the Buckeyes after their loss to Michigan to end their season.
