It's 6:25 and I am sitting in the Hampton Inn, enjoying a coffee and juice. It looks like a cloudy day but no rain is forecast, with the highs in the 70s. We are meeting Jill at 9:45 in Morgantown, at Hayden's apartment. Drew will then pick us up and we will head over to graduation, at the WVU Coliseum because of the weather I suppose.

We left for West Virginia as planned, just about noon, giving us time to get things in order, pack, and even relax some before heading south. We took back roads for the first hour and a half through small Pennsylvania towns as well as a couple of well-known ones, like Titusville, Oil City, and Franklin before getting back on highways, first #Interstate 80 West for 10 miles before taking #79 south to Pittsburgh and beyond, to our Hampton Inn in Waynesburg, PA, about 27 miles north of Morgantown. It was a beautiful ride on the back roads until we hit rain on the Interstates, the hills finally a Spring green, the farms beginning to green over as well. We passed numerous Trump signs and one yard that must have had 20 huge signs, mostly about Trump but also lots of F...Biden signs. Classy!

We were in our room by 4:00 and I napped some and we relaxed watching some TV for a couple of hours. We researched places to eat but none sounded very good and few served alcohol. In other words, there were few bars so we ended up walking to the strip mall next to our Hampton and ate at Casa Capri Pizza. It was a busy place and although Evie did not much like her cauliflower pizza, my meatball parmesan sub was fine and it was served with enough hand-cut fries for both of us so Evie was happy. On the way back to our Hampton, we had to stop at Aldis and do a quick run-through, picking up some butter cookies for dessert. We watched School Of Rock for the fourth or fifth time and still loved it. Jack Black is priceless.
