It's 6:00 and I have not had a good night, still coughing which makes it difficult to sleep. The lake is motionless at the moment, with a crack of orange just above Tom's Point. It's 38º and it looks like we may have some sun during the day, a spring miracle. The high will get up to 60º.  Evie was busy with the camera and got some nice photos in our yard.

Our days don't change much the last week so there's not much to say. Yesterday was a quick trip to see a doctor and get put on an antibiotic but nothing was said about suppressing a cough. Try tea and honey. Well so far, nothing seems to work very well. I have also had little appetite but Evie has found I really enjoy French toast so that was my lunch.

The highlight of noon was the arrival of a Spectrum technician to fix our problems with recording shows. He decided we needed a new box so that was the problem.  We hope. He was here for quite a while and liked talking with Evie. After he left, I was able to take a nap and then read most of the afternoon while Evie started to work on getting her dahlias ready to be potted. It's that time of the year. They won't be planted until the 1st of June but by then, they should be hearty plants, ready for the summer. Down at the right away, six or seven guys were putting in our neighbor's dock. It's getting to be that time of the year.

Dinner was simple, a bowl of Evie's soup which she put together during the afternoon along with baked potatoes with sour cream. We watched our shows, Jeopardy, and another couple of episodes of The Last Thing He Told Me. Evie likes it more than me. We also watched ER and I watched the end of the first half of the Lakes/Warriors game. It looked like the Warriors were going to blow out the Lakers and ESPN confirmed it this morning when I checked the box score.
