It's a miserable morning, gray skies and lake, windy, and raining. Surprisingly, it's 41º but the temperature will drop during the day and we have a winter storm warning for the weekend. Ah, March, comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb.
Thursday's highlight was going out to dinner with our friends, Linda and Ron. The day began early, then with breakfast in Bemus at the Lake Like Cafe before driving to Lakewood for another good Yin Yoga class with Danielle, the third time this week she has taught the classes. I was tempted to stop for coffee but since I had already had breakfast and coffee, I came straight home.

Lunch was leftovers, the last of the matzo ball soup and Evie made me a western omelet with the leftover burger from earlier in the week. Without leftovers, I might have to go lunch-less on some days. I was excited because March Madness was beginning which meant basketball most of the afternoon and evening and I would be getting my fix. I toggled back and forth between a couple of games but usually missed the endings, like losses by two top seeds, Virginia and Arizona. That's what makes March Madness such fun.
I did get in a nap and read some in-between games, and Evie continued with her attempt to pare down our things, sending them off to Salvation Army. Good luck, right. Late afternoon, we both showered and got ready to pick up Ron and Linda at 6:00.
Dinner In Westfield, NY |
We drove to Westfield, an easy 20-minute drive, to the Bark Grill. We were happy to see the parking lot practically fully and that the restaurant was fairly busy for a Thursday night. They had three or four specials and three of us ordered them, only Evie stuck to the menu's pork chops. We loved our meals and the evening and vowed to come there more often because of its varied menu and nightly specials. We didn't get home until 8:30 but had time to watch a little TV before bed.
