The Dog Again |
It's early morning, real early, as we hope to be on the road, again, by 6:30 at the latest. We have a good ten-hour drive to our Hampton Inn, a drive we have done a couple of times before so we know what to expect.
Saturday was another perfect December day in Texas, clear skies, a bit of a nip in the air but comfortable enough for just a fleece. We had nothing we had to do so we hung out most of the morning, not worrying about packing until after dinner. I did get some help from Rami and downloaded the most recent update of my Mac Air, Catalina. Then, since Evie has been looking for a photo enhancement program equal to the one we lost called Aperture, we downloaded an app that Rami highly recommended called Laminar Four, which makes use of AI, something we obviously are dearly in need of.

Catching Some Rays On The Patio |
Beth and Rami went out around 12:30 so Marisa, Evie and I hit Trader Joe's for old time's sake. We didn't really need anything but bought a few things anyway, just for fun, like a case of wine! We were home around 1:00 and had the chili for lunch. Beth made up some spaghetti noodles so we had it over noodles, Cincinnati style, with cheese and sour cream. We did little the rest of the afternoon but watch some TV and spend time on our devices.

Rami And Beth |
Beth and Rami were going out for the evening to a gathering in Irving and left around 5:00. We three had intended on going out to eat but none of us felt like it so we drove to Central Market and picked up a rotisserie chicken, mac n cheese, sushi and chicken tortilla soup for Marisa. It was a good choice because we could then eat dinner in front of the TV and watch reruns of The Office, for the fourth or fifth time. It never seems to get old probably because we rarely remember having watched the episode.

Ready To Party |
Once we had enough of The Office, Evie and I got busy, packed up our things and put them in the car so we would have little to do in the morning other than having our coffee, publish the blog and hit the road, Jack. Evie went up to bed around 9:30 and I stayed up and watched Ohio State make an exciting second-half comeback and beat Wisconsin. It was a good way to end the day.
