Almost Done Painting

Painting Mess # 2

Are you ever done painting?  There always seems to be a bit more to do, touch up here, paint there, clean up, store the paints, put back the room and of course, there's always another room that could use freshening up.  The walls and ceilings are done, look great, and Evie is already finishing up the molding in the living room and then we can put it all back together.  It will be nice to see out the front windows, rather than looking through a plastic wrap protecting the wood.  We are both pleased with our color choices, thank god, and all three shades of buff seem to complement each other.  What am I going to do once we are done?  It so completely took over our lives for the past five days that I wonder what we did with our life before beginning the task?  Back to reading, surfing the net, lazing around the house and getting ready for our  trip west next week.

Today is overcast, with a slight drizzle, a bit cooler, in the 30's, with the possibility of snow this weekend, just another week at the lake.  We are heading to the Viking Club tonight, for Wings and Cubans, our favorite 'healthy choices.'  At least Evie doesn't have to cook, and neither of us has to clean up.
