We sit in our sunny living room, enjoying the sunshine and the blue lake. I just returned from over an hour of kayaking, down to the Powerboat Club and back along Woodlawn to the campground. I ran into Tina and Jim as they paddled across the lake to Long Point.

| Hawak Enjoying A Fish For Breakfast |
Saturday was about as perfect a day as we could want. Lots of sun, just warm enough to wear a long sleeve shirt, little wind and high in the 60s. I had a great paddle of course, out for close to an hour and then coffee, blog and breakfast. There were a couple of things I needed from Home Depot so I was on my way by 10:30, getting home by 11:30, in time to gather the trash and take it to the Transfer Center, a busy morning.
Lunch was tuna melts, compliments of Evie and I watched my show. I was surprisingly tired after a busy morning, so I read and napped earlier than usual. Evie enjoyed some sun, relaxing in the side yard on one of our chaise lounges, joined by our next-door neighbors, and we caught up on their winter. I got busy, working the yard, putting mulch around the trees, trimming the hydrangeas and pieris japonica next to our porch. I also used a sledgehammer on the poles in the water, which will anchor my boat.

| Evie With Louie and Arlo |
While I was working in the yard, Evie made our dinner, roasted eggplant in a pasta sauce with penne. By 5:30, we were enjoying our weekly Manhattan when our neighbor's grandsons stopped over to see if they could come over Sunday morning at 11:00 to see Evie. How cute. By 7:00, we were enjoying our pasta along with a salad and bread and watched a few shows, Colbert and Hometown. After Evie went to bed, I watched an episode of Joe Pickett and the first half of the Warriors/Timberwolves game before going up to bed.
