It turned out to be a beautiful morning, lots of sun, although at first, it seemed to be hidden behind a vast cloud bank. Now, it's mostly blue skies, a few white clouds, and lots of sun.

| Long Point Engagement |
I kayaked for 50 minutes, along Woodlawn, across to Long Point, where a couple was having engagement photos taken. I took photos of course before heading across to Sandy Bottom and home, on a 38º morning paddle, with gloves, stocking hat, and three layers to keep warm.

Yesterday, Thursday, began with early rising, coffee, then driving to Bemus Point for breakfast, and no kayaking. I was home just after 9:00, in time to finish the blog and see Evie off to kindergarten at 9:30. I tried to sign up for yoga, but the class was supposedly closed. I drove to Lakewood anyway, and Tara, our teacher, knew nothing about the class being closed and told me to just go into the studio and set up my mat. Class was fine and I left without my back aching, a good sign.
I stopped at Sav A Lot, and left with a couple of bags of potato chips and a bag of pretzels, mental health food. When I returned home, I heated up soup for lunch, and because I wasn't that hungry so I just had cheese and crackers while watching my show. Then, I went upstairs and read and napped briefly and came downstairs to read just as Evie returned from school. We talked about her day, and she went through the photos she had taken of each kid with their high school student buddies. She then relaxed and watched her show while I read until 4:00 when I went for a walk, up Kinney's Run, stepped across a dry creek, and walked my usual path through the Victoria and Woodlawn woods.

We had our wine time around 5:30, with chips and dip, an appetizer that makes us feel guilty for eating but enjoying it. We had Cincinnati chili, with pasta, cheese, and sour cream, and we watched a couple of episodes of our series until Evie went up to bed. I then watched the second quarter of the Steelers/Bengals game before returning to my show, Spooks, and then going up to bed.
