Up later than usual, around 7:30, to more gray, skies, lake, though it's still frozen.  Parts of the lake, especially down towards Jamestown, in Celeron, the lake is open...get out your kayaks.  The weather continues to be warm, with no winter in sight yet Europe, especially Eastern Europe is having record breaking snow and cold weather, especially in Serbia.  What's going on?  And friends from Turkey have sent me pictures of a snow covered Istanbul, as well as other cities in Turkey which rarely if ever have snow.  In our seven years in Istanbul, we had snow a couple of times, lasting for a day or two.

Yesterday, I went to my second yoga class, Restorative Yoga, and it was an easy session, working mainly on connective tissues, especially the back and thighs.  I enjoyed it and like the way they are in no hurry to get you out of there.  Our session lasted for about 80 minutes, with a 10 minute relaxation period.  Evie did a two hour work out at the Y, so we are both getting tres buff!

For dinner, Evie made foccacia, then made pizzas out the bread and they were really easy and good, with home made tomato sauce and mushrooms.  We watched three Mad Men episodes, as we are getting tired of the news and there are few TV shows worth watching.  The Office was on but with out Michael, it's lacking...it just seems silly and aimless.

Nothing on our plate today, perhaps hike on a trail if it's not too muddy; if so, we will probably walk around the north end of the lake, from Mayville and around Sea Lion Drive.  It's strange not having to dress for winter, a sweat shirt and a shell are all we need for a walk.  Today, our neighbors, Ken Scholtz and his son, Kenny, and Tommy Broeren are in town, so the four of us usually go out for burgers, talk sports, and catch up on the gossip.  They will be off to Holiday Valley tomorrow and Sunday for skiing.
