Well, the snow has begun to melt, the lake is gray instead of white, and the lawn is starting to show green in our front yard as the temperatures fluctuate. Either rain or snow is expected this morning as the temperature hits 33º.

| Three More Swans, Looking For Breakfast |
Thursday was a strange day. I was up early as usual, obsessing about our trip west. Evie slept in because she was not going to school until later in the morning. I had breakfast with the gus at 8:00, and before I left, I had to scrape the ice off the car windows. I returned at 9:10 and finished up the blog. Evie finally went to school, her last day until January, around 10:30, with a bag full of gifts for each kid in her class. I volunteered to return some of her Amazon packages. One had to be returned at a UPS outlet, so I drove to to Jamestown, to the UPS store on Foote Avenue. On the way home, I stopped at the bank to cash a few checks and get out some money for our trip.

| A Spectacular Afternoon Sky |
I was home by noon and heated up some of the leftover pizza for lunch. I watched my show, but to my dismay, Prime viewing is no longer commercial-free, a new way to rip off its clients, even though I am paying 139 bucks a year to be an Amazon Prime customer. After lunch, I read and napped until Evie returned, around 3:00. At 4:00, I went over to a friend's house for beers with the guys and stayed until 5:30. When I returned, Evie was finishing up the pasta and meatballs for our dinner. We relaxed in the living room until 6:15, then ate and watched a couple more episodes of our series. When Evie went to bed, I watched a quarter of NFL on Prime, then finished up another season of Prime Suspect before going to bed.
