A Much Too Early Morning

8:27

8:27

It's 8:30 and I am enjoying my first real meal in 36 hours after fasting yesterday and having my procedure this morning.  We were both up at 5:00 because I had to be at the office by 6:00. Everything went well and I may not have to have another colonoscopy.  Yippee.

There's not much I can say about yesterday at least from my point of view since I spent the day in the house prepping for my colonoscopy.  And if you have ever had one, you know what that means. I did get out for a brief walk early morning around our neighborhood but then basically spent the day sitting around the house, taking Gatorade and using the bathroom, lots of fun.  Fortunately, I like my book and finished it and even started another one,  Liane Moriarty's most recent, Apples Never Fall. I did get my nap, however, and it was overcast most of the day so I did not miss much.

Evie took the day off as well and we both kicked back, enjoying a day of doing nothing.  Dinner for her was leftovers because I was not allowed to eat anything other than jello or a clear broth.  We watched two episodes of the fourth year of a series we really like called Better Things, about a divorced Mom and her three daughters. And, of course, we watched a good part of the State Of The Union before going to bed early because we both had to get up before dawn.
