Another early morning, 5:30 to be exact, as we head off to the lake in a bit.  It's early and we want to get off as soon as we can so we can get to the lake early enough to start getting organize for our next trip West.  We have had a great three days, much too short, but we have to get back.

Yesterday was another great day, beautiful weather, sunny and cool, perfect for a walk.  We all had a late breakfast, all the sticky buns we could eat, sausages, eggs and melon, filling all of us up.  We relaxed around the house, though Marisa, Lettie and I and the dogs walked the street because it was such a beautiful morning.  About 1:30 we all went for a walk at Waveny Park, an old estate that was given to the community of New Canaan back, I think, in the 1960's.  It has trails through the woods, the estate proper, a number of soccer/lacrosse fields, and an outside work out space with various types of work out machines.  We walked the woods, had a light lunch after our walk and got home around 3:00.  From 3:00 on, Mitch, Beth, and Evie worked on getting the potatoes cut and soaked, then doubled friend, so we could have them for dinner with our juicy lucy's.  We ate about 6:30.  Rami grilled the juicy lucy's outside and Mitch' fries were the best we have had in a while.  He also made his speciality, hot potato chips for an appetizer.  We stuffed ourselves with burgers and fries, then on to the left over chocolate cake and a torte we also got earlier from Costco.  I think we have all had our fill of chocolate, of sweets, but no one turned down a piece of the torte, of course.

Mitch and Marisa get to stay home from school tomorrow, though Tyler has to go as usual, much to his dismay.  We sat around after dinner, all in the TV room, talking, playing games on our computers with each other, mostly Words With Friends and Draw Something, a great game for Marisa, and just laughing.  The boys are harassing Lettie's dog, Bella, as usual, just to bother Lettie.  Rami and I did watch some of the Masters but it's not the same with out Tiger in the hunt.  We ended up watching some TV with Tyler and Mitch, Beth and Rami watched their shows in the sun room, and Lettie worked on her computer in the kitchen.  It was a great day.
