The End of Gray, Sunny and Warming

7:43  Finally the Sun
I woke a little late, to a orange sky, no gray, no clouds, just a lake waiting for the sun to rise, light it up, and then, turn it blue as it rises in the cloudless sky.  A great forecast for the next five days, supposedly,  getting up to the high 70's by Sunday.  We will see how that changes over the next few days.  It's warmer today, though it got down in the 40's last night and the lawn almost looked as though it had frost this morning.  It is so nice we are going kayaking, probably heading down towards Snug Harbor, as the sun lights up the western side of the lake, making it clear and clean as we paddle.

Leaves Just Beginning to Turn

What a Day!
We are going off this afternoon to look at the old Shelton Mansion, on the lake, in Lakewood this afternoon with Ron and Linda.  It's up for sale and though they are not really interested in it, but they have asked their real estate agent to show it, so we are coming along.  The Shelton's were a wealthy Jamestown family that had a couple of estates on the lake.  This one has 400 feet of lake frontage, and has come down drastically in price, as it's not exactly a vacation place, more of a year round house, and most people are not looking for this as a second home.  And few want to put that kind of money in a house which is so close to Jamestown.
